Read MoreHey there, its Rachelle & I am back from my month-long yoga hiatus.
At first, I should be honest & admit I was feeling apprehensive about spending a month in Rishikesh – especially on my own. To help set context, I had traveled to India 5 years earlier during grad school & the experience had only been so-so. Ending on a rough note, I don’t think you could have told me then I would be back to India, much less hangout for a month amongst the Himalayan foothills. But back I was, about to embark on what would be one of the most incredible experiences of my life & would ensure Rishikesh always had a special place in my heart.

I had a wonderful visit to North Goa's many beaches exploring them on the world famous Royal Enfield Motorcycle. Great views, nice beaches, and new friends made this visit the respite I needed after trekking in Nepal.
Read MoreHello - Ben here! For the last month, I have been taking some time to travel around the region while Rachelle has been learning the ways of yoga. I heard of some significant snow in the Himalayas and headed straight for Gulmarg in the Jammu and Kashmir state of India.
With the peak sitting at over 4050m, Gulmarg is the highest lift-served ski resort in the world & boasts an unmatched amount of backcountry terrain. Gulmarg is unfortunately tainted by conflict in the region, but still proves itself as a truly unique and incredible experience.
